Home Abstract Corp. ("Home Abstract," "we," "us," or "our") provides title insurance and related services. This SMS / Text Messaging Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data when you opt in to receive text messages from Home Abstract.
This policy applies to SMS/MMS messages sent by or on behalf of Home Abstract. It supplements our general Privacy Policy available at https://www.homeabstractcorp.com (or the URL where that policy is published). If there is a conflict about SMS practices, this SMS Privacy Policy controls for SMS-related information.

We collect mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent records when you:
- Submit a web form or landing page that includes an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox (or equivalent clear affirmative action)
- Open a Title Insurance application with us and request SMS communications
- Text a designated keyword to our number
- Provide verbal opt-in in person or by phone after we disclose message purpose, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, and privacy information
- Otherwise give express written consent through a documented Home Abstract opt-in process
We do not buy phone lists or rely on third-party/affiliate shared consent for our SMS program. Consent must be provided directly to Home Abstract.
Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Home Abstract.
4. SMS information we collect
For the SMS program, we may collect and store:
- Mobile phone number
- Opt-in method, timestamp, and consent language / source (for example, form URL or keyword)
- Message content we send and receive (including STOP, HELP, and support replies)
- Delivery/status metadata from our SMS provider
- Name or account identifiers you associate with the number when you opt in
5. How we use SMS information
We use mobile numbers and SMS consent data solely to:
- Send the text messages you requested or consented to receive
- Respond to HELP and other support requests
- Honor opt-out (STOP) requests and suppress future unwanted messages
- Maintain proof of consent and compliance records required for A2P 10DLC / carrier review
- Troubleshoot delivery issues and prevent fraud or abuse
6. No sale or sharing of mobile information for marketing
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile information — including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent data — with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We share phone numbers only with service providers that help us deliver SMS (for example, our SMS gateway / messaging platform and related IT vendors), strictly to provide the messaging service, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar business transaction.

Your mobile carrier's rates and plan terms apply. Home Abstract does not charge a separate fee for sending or receiving program texts, but your carrier may.
8. Opt-out (STOP)
To stop receiving SMS messages from Home Abstract, reply STOP to any message from us. You may also use STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT where supported.
After we process your opt-out, you will receive a confirmation and we will stop sending further program messages to that number (except a single confirmation if required). You may opt in again later through a new consent process.

10. Data access, correction, and deletion

11. Retention
We retain phone numbers, consent records, and related SMS logs for as long as needed to operate the messaging program, honor opt-outs, meet legal and carrier/compliance obligations, and resolve disputes.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect SMS-related information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
13. Children
Our SMS program is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect mobile numbers from children under 13 for SMS marketing or promotional programs.
14. Changes
We may update this SMS Privacy Policy from time to time. The Effective date above will change when an update is posted. Material changes will be reflected on the public URL where this policy is published.
